Airfreight & Seafreight
We provide tailor made airfreight and sea freight solutions for our customers on all import and export shipments in conjunction with our partners in every international location across all continents. Through our association with multiple freight and logistics networks we can offer flexible and competitive rating structures on all commodities, regardless of the volume and weight, dictated by our clients’ requirements. Ad hoc rates are applied for on all larger shipments all the way up to charter services.
We specialise in the handling of project and international cross trade cargo, the latter service we will handle with ease even though the cargo does not even enter the borders of South Africa.
Through our highly experienced staffing team of logistics experts, we ensure that our clients receive a close and personalised service regardless of the mode of transport, type of cargo, or indeed its origin or destination.
Customs Clearing
All shipments are customs pre-cleared prior to the cargo’s arrival or departure using the EDI interchange. We hold customs deferment accounts throughout all seaports and airports within South Africa. Additionally, Customs, Port Health, SAPS/Border Police, State Veterinary, and plant examinations will be arranged where necessary and we are able to assist with the various permits, certificates and applications that may be necessary.
Warehousing & Bond Store
Having a completely renovated and innovated 5500 sqm warehouse, which includes 3500 pallet locations, storage of cargo and bonded facilities are available at Pomona Freight Park. Dangerous Goods can be positioned in their very own warehouse of 550 sqm. All cargo entering and exiting our facility is bar coded in and out, and our state-of-the-art security system will ensure that our clients can confidently rest assured that their cargo is in safe and capable hands.
Our newest addition is our very own 800 sqm bond store including certifications for both SOS and OS facilities, which offers customers the opportunity to store their cargo either for dutiable goods which will be remaining in South Africa where the customer wishes to defer the payment of Customs Duty and Customs VAT on any part of, or indeed the entire consignment, or alternatively if the cargo is moving in transit to another country where the Customs charges will be paid at that country of final destination.
Road Freight & Containerised Cargo
We offer full load and consolidated load road freight services into all sub-Saharan African countries, taking into consideration SADC and BLNS countries are our specialty. All routes can be handled, including transporting clients’ cargo throughout South Africa through our own fleet of vehicles.
Teaming up with our sister company Freight X we handle all breakbulk, 20’, 40’ and 40 HC containers from and up to the major ports in South Africa; often making use of our Durban Depot for a quicker turn-around time and all round service.
Dangerous Goods & Packing
We are able to pack and unpack sea freight containers and also offer an on-site packaging service from our sister company Hexagon Packaging. All types of cargo and commodities can be packed, including UN approved packaging for any type of transport. This can be done on- and off site, general crating / palletising, decanting, flat racks, open tops and breakbulk cargo.
